Every woman who has experienced pregnancy knows what the daily struggles are when you’re growing a little person inside your body. It’s a miracle to partner with God to create and grow a tiny human, and it also takes a toll on the mama’s body! It’s something men will never truly understand, but one dad-to-be decided to strap a watermelon to his stomach to simulate the pregnancy struggles his wife experiences.
Now if this isn’t romantic, I don’t know what it is! Men will never understand how women sacrifice their bodies, their lives, their sleep, and their careers in order to bring a child into this world. Perhaps the toughest part is the toll pregnancy takes on our bodies. Something as simple as tying our shoes or getting out of bed is a feat like climbing Mt Everest. As for shaving, forget it! If we can’t see our toes, what good could possibly come from attempting to shave our legs?
And sleeping? It’s impossible. If your baby isn’t playing soccer in your womb at all hours of the night, then it’s the fact your body has grown so much that you can’t breathe, nor can you find a comfortable spot. And the worst part? You feel like a beached whale. This is only the pregnancy we’re talking about. Childbirth is a whole new ball game!
But mother-to-be Larisa Titoyan wanted her husband to experience what it’s like to be pregnant and he willingly agreed to have a watermelon duct taped to his stomach. But that’s not all, he also agreed to have cantaloupes strapped to his chest. I’d say this dad-to-be got a real good idea of what it’s like to carry an extra 35 pounds of weight.

Couple Drew and Kayla Gottfried thought their wedding video was lost forever until husband surprises wife with lost wedding video on their 14 anniversary.
I’m crying, Kayla is crying, and I know you’ll be crying after you watch this incredibly sweet and romantic gesture. In the video, Drew explains, “This is my wife, Kayla. Today is our 14th wedding anniversary! She has never seen a video of our wedding ceremony. We were told shortly after our wedding that the video had been accidentally erased.”
Like many brides, Kayla had planned for their big day to be forever captured on video. All was well until the couple wanted to watch it and transfer the video from an old VHS tape to a new digital format. That’s when the couple learned the tape was blank. Needless to say, Kayla was beyond devastated.
14 years later, Drew got a call from a friend at church. This friend was cleaning out the church library of videos when he recognized Drew and Kayla on the film! "He was just going through old tapes of the church and he found one and saw that he recognized us from the video," Drew said. "He didn't even know that we didn't have our videos. He just found it and messaged me and said, 'Look what I found.'"
Can you believe it? Well Drew didn’t either but then it gave him an idea to surprise his wife on their 14th wedding anniversary. He took the video that his wife has never seen down to a movie theater and requested a private viewing party. Drew then rented out the theater. On the day of their anniversary, Drew took Kayla to the movies and she has no idea she is about to see her wedding video for the first time. Drew turns on his phone to record this moment.
As the previews end, familiar voices begin to play and then the screen is filled with those familiar faces. Instantly Kayla recognizes her friends and family and she knows it’s a video of their wedding. She doesn’t just cry, the woman begins to bawl tears of joy as they get to finish watching their wedding for the first time after 14 years.
This emotional video has received more than 61 million views on TikTok. It’s such a beautiful testament to just how much he cherishes his bride!

The young woman who is the singer in this audition has a depth of richness to her voice. She sings with confidence but does not overdo it. As she sings jazzy melody lines and maintains strength in her voice, the audience is enthralled. Judges focus intently on her performance. You see smiles and excitement from their faces as she belts out.

As I was watching, I could not help but say, “wow” at this girl's bright future ahead in music. She is as gifted as Etta James herself. When she finishes her song, audience members stand in ovation, judges clap, and her family cheers her on.
The judges encourage her and ask her various questions. She reveals that her name is Taylor and she is twenty-nine years old. Shockingly the first judge says no, but she receives two yeses from the others. Taylor received feedback from the judges with great strength and humility.
What I love about Taylor’s performance were the joy, authenticity, and soul. She reminds us to give our all no matter what we are doing. She did her best on this audition and had fun while performing. Even when one of the judges was not supporting her further, she held her head high in confidence, knowing that she gave that performance her all. Scripture tells us to rejoice in God always. Taylor reminds me of how I too can choose to have a joyful attitude even in the midst of negativity.

It is not every day when we witness a hero in action. Check out this video when a group of good samaritans rushes to save a man in a wheelchair on the subway tracks.
It was just another day on the subway train in New York City when a man in a wheelchair fell off of the platform and onto the tracks. Terrifyingly, this occurred just minutes before the subway was going to arrive. A brave man jumped onto the tracks and others began helping the hero save the endangered man.
The hero quickly threw the wheelchair up to another person on the platform as one man grabbed the man’s hands and the good samaritans picked up the handicapped man, pulling him to safety.
Then, the hero who had leaped to help the man in the wheelchair swiftly jumped up to the platform with the help of another person pulling him off the tracks.
It was the kind of thing you normally only see in the movies, but this was real life. Thankfully everyone was ok in the end before the next subway pulled up.
This video reminds us of the story of the Good Samaritan in the Bible. A man on the side of the road needed help and a kind stranger chose to meet his needs. May we be reminded that Christ calls us to be servants to others and help those in hard times. Just as Jesus laid down His life for us, we can be sacrificial and bless others by serving them in times of trouble.
“But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him." Luke 10:33-34

Bella is 23 years old, and her voice is incredible. What an amazing audition, and the breathtaking high note that she hit in the final seconds of the song was absolutely beautiful!
The judges are stunned by her talent. So much so that one of them, Guy Sebastian, blocked Jess Mauboy from the ability to have Bella on her team. This was in order to have a better chance of Bella picking him to be her coach.
At the end of Bella’s audition, she receives a huge standing ovation from the judges and the audience. She even gets a little emotional at the end while taking in the overwhelming response to her performance.
Bella ended up picking Guy Sebastian as her coach, because like her, Guy had also grown up singing in church.
“It was nice having that connection with him, it made me feel safe, comfortable, and really excited for what is ahead,” Bella shared. “I never really knew why I could sing or what I was going to do with it until I started going to church.”
There’s a good chance that Bella could win this whole competition with her incredible voice. We’ll be rooting for her as she uses her God-given talent to bring Him glory!

Then we see another cat cuddled up in another planter. And it looks up to the camera with the most beautiful green eyes. Finally, we see yet another cat sleeping in a red planter. The soil must be warm from baking in the sun, making it quite a nice and cozy spot for these cats to take a little nap.
"I thought it was cute that all the cats had fallen asleep in the planters,” says the person in Idaho who filmed this adorable scene. “Immediately thought they were a cat garden. Why wouldn’t you want a garden of cats?"
The sweet video has gained a lot of attention since being posted online, with many people making funny jokes about the garden full of cats.

This girl seamlessly dances into the moving jump ropes, and it’s not even just simple dance moves. She’s doing full-out, impressive hip-hop dancing. Forget awkwardly dancing at a wedding reception like me — this girl needs to go on America’s Got Talent or something!
There’s so much fancy footwork going on here I can’t even describe it. Impressive isn’t a strong enough word to describe her dance. It’s mind-blowing!
I haven’t tried double dutch myself, but I know it’s been around forever. Someone was bound to dance in the ropes eventually!
Apparently, historians traced the origin of the sport back to ancient ropemakers in Asia. Eventually, the game made its way to Europe and then America. Double dutch grew over time in urban areas and was very popular around World War II.
The game died down when radio music got big in the ‘50s but transformed into a national sport in the ‘70s. Since then, local and national competitions have taken place all over the country!
More recently, the ‘Fusion’ or freestyle category has become super popular in competitions. I would imagine this girl’s routine would qualify under that category and would definitely place top three. But what do I know!
Just when you thought she couldn’t shock you anymore, she starts doing some dance moves on the ground involving her hands — YES, somehow still jumping rope simultaneously. God truly blessed people with incredible talents.

The owner of the cute 11-month-old dog named Nova in the video is Gage Elledge, and the pair live in Ohio. This adorable trick that Gage filmed is catching the hearts of all who see the video online.
“She’s the cutest!” says one person after watching the video.
Another person comments: “As a mail carrier with a ‘mail dog’ on my route, I promise that’s the highlight of my day.”
The viral video has accumulated hundreds of thousands of views online, and it is so cool to see Nova go and collect the mail from the mailman.
At first, the dog looks up at her owner who is filming and then dashes down the stairs and across the yard to where the mailman is parked. The pup is so happy to see her mailman friend that her tail is wagging vigorously.
Nova is then handed the mail from the mailman, and then she goes back up on the porch to give the mail to her owner. “Come on, bring it up here,” says Gage.
What a good job, Nova! This dog definitely has this trick down, and it is fun to see her accomplish this task. Kuddos to Gage for training her so well!

In a heroic moment caught on video, one teen rushes into oncoming traffic to save his little sister’s life.
The teen in the video is a 15-year-old from Brazil, and he risked his life when he sprinted into the road to save his little 3-year-old sister.
The teen’s little sister had run across the street in front of him, and then tried to run back across the street. She did not look to see if there was any traffic coming, and there was a large truck coming down the road right in her direction. She was almost hit by the vehicle, but her brother sprinted and picked her up out of the road. His quick-thinking actions saved her very life!
And the whole rescue was recorded on a shop’s security camera!
"At the time, we didn't grasp the scale of what had happened, but when I took the cameras out, my legs went weak and my eyes filled with water because he'd saved the girl's life," said the shop owner named Alex da Silva Marques. “It was cinematic, a heroic act.”
That brother’s heart must have dropped when he saw his little sister running back to him across the road and into oncoming traffic. But what an incredible big brother he was to swoop in and save her life in the way that he did!
Whether we are bonded through family, or even if we are just strangers on the street, we must always look out for each other. Especially the little children out there who can tend to get into trouble and have accidents when adults are not watching them. God bless this brother and sister and the bond that they share!

These smart horses use teamwork to help scratch each other’s itch, and let’s be honest, would humans think of this solution as quickly?
Ever have one of those itches in the middle of your back that you just can’t reach? No matter how many different angles or positions you try, there’s just no hope. You might ask a friend or partner, but what if you’re alone or around strangers? Definitely shouldn’t go asking a random person to scratch your back.
People have those handy back-scratching sticks to take care of an itch. Some aren’t that lucky to have an item for this scenario, and by some, I mean horses. How would they even attempt to use a backscratcher? They wouldn’t. So they have to be clever.
It probably took these horses a couple of seconds to figure out how to take care of their annoying itches the first time. I mean, just look how normal! They definitely do this all the time.
More often, you’ll see horses rubbing up against fences, walls, and other weird objects to get their scratches in for the day. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a horse use its hoof to scratch itself. I don’t even know if that’s possible!
Basically, it seems like the entire body can be difficult to scratch for a horse and plenty of other animals! That’s definitely why they get so into it whenever they get those good scratches. Lucky for these pals, they have each other to reach exactly where they need a little scratchin’!

Watch this beluga whale and his pal react to a moving violin performance — they can’t get enough!
At the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, some beluga whales love to interact with the humans outside their enclosure. Apparently, they really enjoy the sound of classical instruments! Hip hop violinist, Big Lux, gave the whales an impressive performance.
In the clip, Kela and Juno fall in love with the happy violin tunes. Natasha, a third Beluga, also watches off-camera. You can see her little flipper in the right of the video. Nobody is getting left out of this personal serenade!
You can’t tell from the video, but these happy pals live in the largest outdoor beluga whale habitat in the U.S. These three are the aquarium’s main trio, but recently, Mystic received five young belugas to add to the family.
What about these guys is different from any other type of whale? Their huge melon heads, of course! Their iconic head bulges visually set them apart from the classic killer whale or humpback whale. Plus it makes them 100 times more adorable!
Unfortunately, their cuteness doesn’t keep them out of harm’s way. As the Beluga whale population declines, the organization helps with research on the species to improve conservation efforts. They live in colder waters in the Northern Hemisphere and have been negatively impacted by climate change.
While the humans attempt to figure out a conservation plan for these melon-headed cuties, they can just enjoy their private performances and goof off with their staff friends. Apparently, interactions like these with humans and different stimuli are great for the Belugas.
I would LOVE to hang out with this pod of Belugas! I would learn to play any instrument just to amuse these precious blobs of blubber.
