Emotional Support Alligator Helps Elderly Man Overcome Depression

This is a new one that I have never heard of! An emotional support alligator helps an elderly man overcome depression.

God never ceases to surprise us as to how He can use His unexpected creatures for His greater purposes. A man is on a sidewalk strolling down the street with his pet alligator on a leash.

We see the response of some high school students. One girl has her jaw dropped open. Suddenly, a little boy gets scared.

Joe Hanny is an alligator expert. He does an interview on the front porch and shows that this alligator is different from others. He does not bite. He refuses to close his mouth when you put your hand inside, and they do not know why.

Wally is the alligator’s name, and he had to be retired but had nowhere to go, so Joe adopted him as his own pet. We see the gator in a tub in Joe’s living room in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Wally loves to eat chicken and Cheetos.

Joe talks about how Wally is his emotional support alligator. Joe lost loved ones and became depressed. During his time of struggle, Wally became more comforting and loving.

Joe shares an endearing story about falling asleep and Wally would be laying on his head, and he would have a paw print on his face. Wally goes everywhere with Joe, to the doctor, the waterpark and has even been a ring bearer in a wedding. Joe says that his depression has significantly improved because of Wally.

This is nothing short of a miracle of God. It is not natural for an alligator not to bite. The Lord has clearly provided for this man in a unique way, and this can remind us, too that Christ cares for all of our needs.

“Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds.” Luke 12:24

Teen Begs Everyone To 'Pray Out Loud' After Being Struck By A Drunk Driver

The power of praying out loud is like a spark that ignites the faith and power of God in those who hear you. It fans the flame of hope and even saves lives. A teen begs everyone to ‘Pray Out Loud’ after being struck by a drunk driver.

Katie Lentz knows it was prayer that saved her life. She believes that those prayers ushered in the Holy Spirit, who was with her every moment she was trapped in the crumpled remains of her car.

Katie was on her way to church when she was hit by a drunk driver. She doesn’t really remember the impact of the other car, but she does remember people coming to help her get out of the car. At first, she was in shock, and she couldn’t believe what was happening.

Then she made a request. One so pivotal that it saved her life and instilled faith in the team that was trying to get her free from the wreck. She asked them to pray out loud.

She continued to make the simple request to every person who showed up to aid in her rescue, including Richard Adair, who wasn’t a man of prayer. He didn’t think she would walk again or even live. Yet, Katie’s request would not only save her life but plant the seeds of salvation for people like Richard.

Soon word of Katie’s accident spread like wildfire, and hundreds of people lifted this young woman up into the hands of God through fervent requests to save her life. Despite being trapped for over an hour and suffering multiple broken bones and internal damage, Katie is now walking again. She is completely healed.

When asked about the accident, Katie says, “I believe that the Holy Spirit was with me.” Yet, the most beautiful part of this redemptive story is how Katie’s request to pray out loud restored other people's faith and belief in our miracle-providing God.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Doorbell Camera Captures Moment Of Kindness Between Elderly Woman And Sanitation Worker

Have you ever been on the receiving end of an act of kindness? Didn’t it just absolutely make your day and restore your faith in humanity?

If you know what kindness feels like, then you’ll adore this story. A doorbell captures a moment of kindness between an elderly woman and a sanitation worker in the state of Missouri.

Opal Zucca had taken a bad spill earlier in the year when she had attempted to do the chore herself. Billy Shelby, a sanitation worker, was a witness to it. He feared she could hurt herself again, so he decided to do something about it. Since then, he’s been wheeling her trash can to and from the house.

Opal’s daughter Colette Kingston happened to review the footage of her mother’s doorbell camera and she was stunned by what the camera captured. In the video, Shelby and Opal are walking arm in arm up the driveway as he puts the trash can away.

He goes on to tell her how great her hair looks and asks how she’s doing. They chat a little more about the details of the day. After he is sure Opal is doing well, he gets back to his job and tells her, “God bless you, my darling.” The way he says goodbye just melted my heart. He wasn’t being nice to be nice, he genuinely cares about Opal’s welfare.

Colette was moved by Shelby’s care and concern for her mother, so she decided to post the footage online. Shelby became an online hero. We need a few more Shelbys in the world who are willing to take the time to look after others. He reminds me of Christ and how we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world.

Ephesains 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Community Shows Up In Big Way After Mother Of 6 Tragically Loses Her Life

A community shows up in a big way after a mother of six tragically loses her life.

Single mom Jaclyn Michelle lost her life when she was struck by a train. In the wake of this terrible accident, she left behind her six children ranging in age from two years old to 15.

Her sisters Amy and Samantha have been scrambling to care for her kids and plan for Jaclyn’s funeral, but like most of us, they live from paycheck to paycheck. When Kyle and Jackie O from KIIS Radio heard about the news, they wanted to help this grieving family and reached out to their listeners as well.

Kyle and Jackie invited Jaclyn’s sisters onto the radio to give them encouragement, support, and a little solace as they announced they were donating $10,000 to help with funeral arrangements.

They also set up a Go-Fund-Me page for others to give a helping hand too. As they shared about the tragedy and the donation page, the call lines quickly filled up with others wanting to help the family. One individual by the name of Richard called to help, and he stunned everyone with his donation of $10,000.

Perhaps the most precious donation came from a mother who had been listening to the program on her way to drop her daughter off at school. Her daughter wanted to use her allowance to donate. How incredibly compassionate and thoughtful!

Isn’t that something? When darkness, death, and tragedy strike, our hearts are compelled to reach out and help shoulder the burden. Much like a candle in the dark of night, they provided hope as this precious family moves forward to grieve and heal without their mother.

Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

'Folsom Prison Blues' Battle Duet On The Voice Has The Judges On Their Feet

This is one of the coolest battle rounds in history when the ‘Folsom Prison’ battle duet on The Voice has the judges on their feet. With infectious energy and guitars in hand, Austin Montgomery squared off with Tanner Fusell in one of the best renditions of Johnny Cash’s hit song, “Folsom Prison Blues.”

The performance had the audience roaring with cheers. The pair took turns singing and showing off their personalities. Tanner showcased his southern rock appeal and deep voice, while Austin used his gritty voice to add a unique sound to his performance.

Judge Camila Cabello applauded the battle and added, “That was like an awards show performance! It was so fun to watch! I’ll be honest, I’m not familiar with this song. At first, I was like, ‘Oh, this is cool!”

Blake Shelton said the performance was so outstanding that it would be a tough decision to decide who would win this round. Personally, I think these two should perform together more often or even start their own band after they finish their season on The Voice. They definitely nailed what country music sounds like. Other viewers who watched online added comments of how impressed they were at the performance.

One viewer touched on the idea of the pair becoming a duo, “These two should become a duo.  They would totally crush it.  I would pay to see them perform live.” Another viewer seemed to be on Team Austin: “Austin is really in a league of his own —  his range and tone are perfection, and there is no one like him in the competition. Their voices complimented each others' very well — and both are showmen.”

No matter who wins this round of The Voice, we know God has blessed both of these men with incredible musical talent. This certainly won’t be the last time we hear any of them. They have a great future in music!

Cellist Visits Nursing Homes To Share Healing Power Of Music

This incredible video shares about Ryan Carnie and his gift of music. This cellist visits nursing homes to share the healing power of music.

Ryan says that this was not a gift he asked for. It was a gift that he was given. We know that God ultimately provides us with talents and skills to be used to bless others and bring Him glory. He says that he loves helping others have a better life. Ryan’s motivation was his own father.

Ryan says that his dad was diagnosed with aggressive cancer and has around 18 months to live. His dad was unable to speak due to cancer until at a family Christmas party when they all sang and danced to “Stand by Me.” Suddenly his dad began to sing. We see the clip and are amazed at the joy and laughter found during the song in a hard time.

Ryan lost his dad and then his stepson three years later. He made a choice to go to the senior home to give back. He has been helping a one-hundred-year-old who struggles with her memory. Ryan has music with Mary, and as he plays cello, she plays piano, and the muscle memory comes back to her even if his mind is no longer able to remember.

The elderly people love the music and enjoy singing along. Mary tells Ryan that they go well together and smiles. Ryan says that he has always felt blessed, and encouraging others in this way has really been healing for himself too.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

Zebra Fights Off 5 Crocodiles And 1 Hippo

Few of us will ever see a spectacle like this in person, so it’s wonderful that a videographer was on sight to capture this zebra as it fights off 5 crocodiles and 1 hippo; it’s an incredible minute of Mother Nature doing what The Father designed it to do!

As the video begins, the zebra is bucking, jumping up and down with its hind legs. We can see its left hip has already been injured. A bright red, open wound is evidence that this battle has already started. By 5 seconds into the video, there are crocodiles approaching from both sides of the black-and-white striped equine’s head. This is not a fair fight!

The croc on the left tries to bite into the zebra’s face, and while also thrashing at yet another attacking from behind, the zebra clamps onto the crocodile’s upper jaw. The zebra’s got the reptile in a death grip, and, thankfully, that may keep the African horse alive!

The two dance-swim around a few turns, the crocodile’s mouth held open by the zebra’s, but by 27 seconds, the croc has freed itself from its prey. And there is now a whole team of slithering predators after their four-legged feast!

The zebra heads for the rocky bank and is making good progress, but at 35 seconds, we see a hippopotamus to the zebra’s left. And, even more threatening, one more crocodile is coming full throttle at the zebra’s neck.

Incidentally, the croc’s jaws can apply up to 3,700 pounds of pressure per square inch; the hippopotamus has a bite pressure of 2,000 pounds per square inch. With five crocs and one hippo in the water, there’s an incredible threat to the outnumbered horse. But, the zebra is using its primary defenses of kicking and biting to survive. And it looks like it just might!

The last swimming lizard latches onto the zebra, but only briefly before it is once again free.  Bounding up from the water, the zebra makes its way to safety, even if a little shaky from the nasty gash on its rear. The entire scene is mesmerizing!

The lone zebra survives the deadly encounter, but life is hard in the wild, and there are surely more battles to come!

“God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:25

Ice Skating Pair Go Viral With Michael Jackson Routine

This is a beautiful sport that is always mesmerizing to watch. In this video, an ice skating pair goes viral with Michael Jackson Routine.

Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres begin a groovy routine to the 1980s hit Beat It. They are dressed in leather and bling outfits as they start their routine on the ice with big smiles.

The crowd cheers at their creativity. The pair moves rhythmically and with such fun energy. Suddenly they wow us all with an incredible lift revealing so much poise and strength in both of them. They act as if it is an effortless moment, but we know it is a high skill level.

The two have fun kicking their legs, and their dance moves on the ice as they are synchronized. They skate backward, sideways, and forward and do impressive flips.

The pair occasionally mimic some of Michael’s own dance moves in the routine. They are definitely a crowd-pleaser. The best part is the two appear to be having a blast. They are not only incredibly gifted, but they are having fun.

Right when you think they are finished, Vanessa twirls, and Morgan takes off his jacket as “Black or White” comes on. They dance and skate in such unity. It is beautiful, and their jumps are so strong.

He effortlessly flips and tosses her as she twirls, and the crowd goes wild. They do a shocking moment where he grabs her by the skates and spins her around. Then, they end on an impressive lift as he spins with Vanessa on his head.

These two are on fire! They do amazing. It reminds us of all that we can accomplish when we have unity. True unity comes from Christ. We can celebrate God’s gift today and always.

“I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:23

Uber Driver Saves 2 People From A Burning Building And Still Gets Customer To Airport On Time

It is always amazing to witness unexpected heroes. In this video, we see an Uber driver saves two people from a burning building and still get his customers to the airport on time.

Jennifer Hudson welcomes an Uber driver to her show named Fritz Sam. Fritz shares how he dreamed of being called a “hero” since he was a kid, but he doesn’t feel like he is doing anything special, but he realizes why people think that. Jennifer encourages that mindset of helping others, not for our own glory, but simply to be kind.

Fritz shares that he drove a second trip that morning, and it was for a pastor going to the airport. Suddenly, they saw people videoing with their phones, and it looked like something bad was happening. He saw a fire on the second floor of an apartment and asked the pastor if they could stop.

He pulled over and made sure people called 9-1-1. He went inside and grabbed a man who was going downstairs, and he went up and asked the woman if she would come out. She refused. He told the woman if she wasn’t leaving, he wasn’t leaving. The woman finally agreed to go, and then he got the gentleman who went downstairs and let the firemen do their thing.

He got in the car, and he apologized to the pastor, who was more than happy for his decision to go save lives. Jennifer learns that he actually drove her a few years ago. She then surprises him with a trip for 2 to Cancun, Mexico, for him and his wife.

Fritz seems shocked and overwhelmed by the kindness. The way he sacrificed himself for the sake of a stranger points to the love that Christ has in this world. We are called to this sacrificial love.

“And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:38

Incredible Prison Testimony At Lauren Daigle Concert Moves The Christian Singer

This is an amazing moment during a worship concert. Check out this incredible prison testimony at the Lauren Daigle Concert, which moves the Christian singer.

In the midst of her concert, Lauren Daigle shares about meeting someone in her Q&A time named Carlos. The crowd cheers as she mentions him. She says that she asked if it was ok with Carlos if she shared his story before they sing their next song and he agreed.

She says that Carlos was in prison and he didn’t know that he would get his parole. His mother, in faith, bought two tickets to the Red Rocks Lauren Daigle concert in the belief that he would get out and make this show.

Lauren says, “Two weeks ago, Carlos became a free man, and he is now at the show for his birthday.” Lauren says she was asked where her favorite place to sing was, and she said prison.

Her stories of people who share that they were more trapped outside of the jail. Carlos says that Rescue was used by God to save his life, and Lauren says that she is dedicating the song to him that night. It is a beautiful moment of worship and celebration of how Jesus saves us from our sins.

As we hear pieces of her song “Rescue,” we are encouraged that this statement is not only for Carlos, but it is for us too. We have all been imprisoned and trapped by our sin, but Christ has set us free, and we can celebrate this truth today.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Genesis 17:7

19-Year-Old Austin Montgomery Sounds Just Like Elvis During Blind Audition

This is such a fun audition. 19-year-old Austin Montgomery sounds just like Elvis during his blind audition.

As Austin begins singing, he receives an immediate chair turn. One just asks if he sounds like Elvis a little, and the other just shakes his head yes. He has such a naturally cool voice. The crowd is going wild as the judges contemplate whether they should turn or not.

The two judges decide that he sounds like Elvis and it’s really cool, so both of them turn their chairs at the same time. As he points, the judges argue over who he keeps pointing at during his performance. Austin is so calm and confident as he sings to the crowd. One judge stands and dances to the song. It is definitely a crowd-pleaser.

Austin shares that he is only 19-year-old and the judges are in shock. He is from California. He shares his style and those who have influenced him that are oldies but goodies.

All of the judges rave about him and have fun with him. A judge compliments him that he sounds like Elvis. Austin replies, “Thank you” at one point, and a judge responds, “Thank you very much, you should have said.”

One judge tells him it is an honor to have him on the show and they can do it right. The next says that he would be a great sound on the radio today, and she is looking for diverse musical talent for her team. The next coach says that she would love to work with him and his style. He finally selects his coach, and the audience cheers.

This is a moment of showing us the timeless talent that the Lord provides. He is so creative and continues to give us unique voices in every generation. It causes me to think about His faithful promises for every generation.

“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.” Genesis 17:7

Heartwarming Moment 3-Year-Old Meets Her Baby Brother For The First Time

You have to watch this video of the heartwarming moment a 3-year-old meets her baby brother for the first time!

“Is it baby?” the little girl asks her mother after seeing her baby brother for the first time. “It’s your baby brother!” says the mom. “He’s cute! He’s so cute,” replies the toddler. How precious!

“That’s Logan That’s your brother!” the mother tells her little girl. “Hi, baby brother!” says the toddler. Then her mom asks if she loves him, and she enthusiastically responds with “Yes! Baby Logan!”

What a beautiful moment for this family! And many people online shared how sweet it was to see that first moment between the little girl and her baby brother.

“I’m not even their mother and my heart couldn’t handle anymore! Explosion of love and pride to be a big sister! She was meant for that role!” one person writes on YouTube.

“Oh my gosh, the way that she lovingly stared into his eyes after she put the pacifier into his mouth. That made my heart melt,” comments another person online.

The little girl’s mother shared about what the tender moment meant for her. “Getting to watch her little face see him for the first time, I don’t think my heart could take any more. It quite literally felt like it was going to explode.”

She continued: “The gasps at the beginning. Like she just cannot believe her eyes. Like she is just in such shock that she is getting to see this baby that we’ve been talking about for months and months and months. It was just a really magical moment. We weren’t really sure how it was going to go because she’s only ever been an only child. She just seems to love every second of it, honestly. So, we’ve been just really blessed with getting to watch this wonderful side of her, being a big sister and watching her fall into that role quite naturally. It’s like she’s beyond her years, you know, she just adores him.”

God bless this sweet family and their newest addition!

Ed Sheeran Gives Away Guitar To 10-Year-Old Fan In The Crowd

Check out this sweet act of kindness when Ed Sheeran gave away his guitar to a 10-year-old in the crowd during an impromptu concert.

“I have a question. Is that your guitar? How long you been playing guitar for?” Ed Sheeran asked the young boy.

The boy, named Arthur Baggett, replied that he had been playing for 6 months.

“How old are you?” Ed Sheeran asked Arthur. “10? So, I started playing guitar at 11 and I couldn’t play guitar before that. If I give you this, you promise – make him practice every day, alright?” Ed said to the boy’s mom.

After he finished playing his last song, Ed signed the guitar with the message “Arthur, keep playing.” Then he handed it over to the young fan. He also gave him the amp and speaker.

What a sweet gesture! And one that Arthur will never forget.

The impromptu hour-long performance that Ed Sheeran gave was in Ipswich, England on the steps of Town Hall. Word got around the town that Ed was playing there, and the crowd soon formed to about 1,000 people.

Arthur was actually on his way to his guitar lesson when he begged his mom if he could skip it in order to go see Ed Sheeran play – someone that he is a huge fan of. And because of that decision, the young guitar player was blessed with an amazing gift from his idol!

“It’s such a nice guitar and the amp is so precious to me because Ed is someone that I want to be like,” said Arthur. “I love singing and playing guitar. I’m going to improve so much from this point on – and it’s going to be incredible to look back on this moment.”

We hope that you enjoyed this heartwarming video today, and way to go Ed Sheeran for blessing that young boy with a wonderful gift!

Bus Drivers Save Toddler Left On Side Of Road During Carjacking

Check out this story of bus drivers coming to the rescue after a toddler was left on the side of the road after a carjacking.

Recently in Michigan, a toddler boy was in the back seat of his parents’ car when it was stolen by carjackers. And soon after the scary event, Sue Figueroa, a bus driver, spotted the toddler wandering alone next to the road and came to his rescue.

“I just drove past a baby by the side of the road with a blanket, and I just immediately said, ‘I need to turn around and get back there right away,’” said Sue.

While Sue was helping the lost little boy onto her bus and thinking of what her next step would be to help locate his parents, another bus driver was helping out in his own way.

The parents of the toddler had actually frantically waved down Dave Skinner, another bus driver, after the carjacking took place.

“I had a couple of parents raising their arms, trying to stop traffic,” Dave said.

Dave instantly knew something was wrong, and when he pulled over to talk to them, the mom and dad told him about the carjacking and their lost little boy.

As Dave was calling in for help, the toddler was already safe with Sue on her bus. Soon, dispatchers were able to bring the bus drivers, the parents, and the toddler together.

What a great rescue story! And Dave shared about how vigilant bus drivers are while they are working.

“Drivers are very attentive of all the kids in the neighborhood when we’re picking them up, and if they see something odd or strange, they’re real quick to get on the radio and holler back,” shared Dave.

We hope that you enjoyed this story about these two heroic bus drivers today!
