After years of neglect, this mistreated cow finds comfort in the arms of her rescuer. The Vale de Rainha Sanctuary in Brazil has rescued all types of animals for almost 10 years. Patricia and Vitor chose to dedicate their lives to saving innocent animals’ lives and now live at the sanctuary with over 200 animals. This non-profit refers to their rescue animals as ‘Animal Masters’ because they teach people about forgiveness and unconditional love. It’s alright to actually ‘awww!’ right now. It’s so precious and so true! Gaia the cow came to the sanctuary with unhealed wounds and scars and couldn’t even stand. About six people had to carry her with a tarp after rolling her onto it. You can tell she doesn’t try to fight it. It’s as if Patricia was able to let her know that she was safe. Her rescuers seemed to find her just in time because she had to fight just to make it through each day and night. After starting treatments, Patricia said, “We were with her day and night praying that she can make it to another day.” Seeing Gaia lifted off the ground with the recovery equipment is heartbreaking. Had she gone a few more days alone, she definitely wouldn’t have survived. As if she was placing her life in Patricia’s hands, Gaia completely rested her head on her shoulder. Putting that level of trust in one person when so many other humans in her life mistreated her is beautiful and inspiring. Gaia went from death’s door because of humans to cuddling with Patricia as she grew stronger. Patricia said, “Master Gaia’s spirit taught us that there is hope even when we can’t see any.” God’s creatures can teach us so much about love and forgiveness. To live a life by God’s Word, we must learn to unconditionally accept others’ flaws and forgive their mistakes. God bless Patricia and those who help at the sanctuary for giving those innocent animals a second chance at life. And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32

Prepare to be amazed by this incredible video as modern Irish dancers wow at the world championships. At the start of the performance, three female dancers confidently enter with leaps and jigs. A male dancer then joins them as the four move in unison. As they exit the stage, five young women begin dancing in tap style. The girl in the middle shines in a moment of a modern twist to Irish step. As the fiddles play, three girls and two guys step in sync incredibly. Then, out of nowhere, a solo dancer appears. She leaps and points her toes professionally. She smiles when the crowd cheers and her dance is a beautiful display of joy and grace. Suddenly, a large group of dancers, and even a few grown men appear, signaling a strong finale. Their dancing almost has a domino effect. The group of over 30 dancers perform their hearts out and finish well. This was an incredible job done at the Fusion Dance Fest 2021. Do you have a special skill that you have put aside or stopped using? These Irish step dancers are using their passions and actively sharing them. God gives us all talents in order to glorify Him and bless others. This group clearly gave this performance their all. It reminds us to not hide our gifts. No matter what our age, home life, race, or gender, we can bless the Lord with our talents. You and I are created by God and for His glory. What are some ways that you can pick up that instrument, dust off those paint brushes, or get out that knitting needle? We all have something to offer. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

In this adorable video, two talented figure skaters announce that they are expecting their first baby with a lovely ice-skating routine. At the start of the video, the figure skaters delicately touch hands and then spin around on the ice. Then, they come together, and the man picks up his wife while turning her around. He makes it all look so easy! The two of them look so graceful together and are radiating joy with huge smiles plastered across their faces. The woman then skates around for a little bit right before her husband comes behind her, wraps his arms around her, and reveals a onesie which tells that the couple is going to have a baby. What a cute and creative pregnancy announcement! And so fitting for this pair. The couple in the video are Mariyah and Peter Gerber. They are from Long Beach, California, and they run their own small business online. They are expecting their first baby in December 2021. Mariyah is 28 years old, and Peter is 29 years old. The two of them have been ice skating for many years and both love the sport very much. It was actually through ice skating that the couple met several years ago. What an exciting time this couple is in right now! It is such a blessing to welcome a baby into the world. And seeing how talented these two are at ice-skating, there is a good chance that their baby will have their fair share of time on the ice when they get older! One adorable 4-year-old girl saves the day after seeing her family’s air fryer burst into flames and alerting her dad about the problem. As soon as the little girl comes onto the scene and sees the flames, she says, “Fire! Oh no, Daddy's gonna kill me," as if it were her fault. How funny! The little girl’s name is Amelia, and right after she discovers the fire, she swiftly runs away to find her daddy who was brushing his teeth in the bathroom. And as if on cue, a song from the soundtrack to the movie Frozen starts to play as Amelia runs away. “She said ‘Daddy, you gotta come see this!’ And she’s doing this with her hands,” said Daniel Jermyn, Amelia’s father, as he waves his hands in the air. In the video, Daniel rushes to the scene of the fire and hurries to get the fire extinguisher. He didn’t end up finding it, so he panics and picks up the flaming air fryer with his bare hands! “I was trying not to hit the dogs, and there was plastic dripping,” said Daniel. “He burnt his feet,” shared Amelia. As he rushes out the back door with the burning air fryer, Daniel then tosses it into their pool to extinguish the flames. What a close call! And if it wasn’t for little Amelia, the family could have lost a lot more than just their air fryer. “When you’re done using your air fryer, you always want to unplug it,” shares Nicole Papantoniou, the Deputy Director of the Good Housekeeping Institute. “And it’s the same thing you want to do with other appliances that have heating elements in them like your toaster or toaster oven.” She also says that you should always clean your air fryer after using it. “Grease accumulates on the bottom and that could definitely start a fire.”

After singing this patriotic song, the trio starts to sing ‘Battle Hymn of The Republic.’ “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored He hath loosed the fateful lightening of His terrible swift sword His truth is marching on” What a great video featuring these three wonderful voices! “It is always a real treat getting to listen to you sing,” writes one person on YouTube. “When your mom and sister joined in, it gave me chills! I love the way you harmonize together. It is so beautiful!” “Absolutely stunning and with gorgeous harmonies ladies. It's plain to see where Evie's talents originated. Mom is great. And we know her sister’s talented as well. Bravo ladies.” Evie Clair was able to share her singing talents with the world when she was a finalist on America’s Got Talent. Her album Okay Day hit the top 50 on the iTunes pop chart just after her original song ‘For You’ was featured in a movie soundtrack. Later, Delta Airlines used her single ‘Auld Lang Syne’ in one of their holiday commercials. Evie has such beautiful tone and pitch, and it is great to see her using her talent, alongside her family members, to bring smiles to others.

This heart-pounding, nail-biting video gives a whole new meaning to the Rock-A-Bye-Baby lullaby when a tree crashes through a nursery window but the baby emerges without a scratch! It was a normal night of bath time, snuggles, bedtime prayers and being tucked into bed for baby Cannon, the newest member of the Buccholtz family. But outside, a storm raged with large gusts of wind and rain. Courtney, and her husband Kale, were getting rid to unwind on the couch. But two minutes later, they heard a thunderous crash coming from upstairs. As Courtney heard her son wail, she feared the worst. She raced up the stairs and when she opened the nursery door, her heart nearly stopped. A tree had sliced baby Cannon’s room in half—through the roof, windows, and wall! The baby monitor had captured it all on camera. In the video, you can see Cannon drifting off to sleep when he is sprayed with debris from the ceiling and walls, covering his entire little body. Seconds later, you can see his mother’s horrified face as she races to scoop him up. It was an absolute miracle he wasn’t injured by branches, pieces of lumber, glass, or sheetrock. The family went outside the home to check for additional damage when they realized a tree with a four-foot-wide trunk had fallen on their house. Despite having to make extensive repairs to a home that is currently unlivable, the family is counting their blessings and praising God for answering their prayers to keep their family safe. Courtney took to Facebook after the ordeal. She posted the video from the baby monitor with the caption: “A very large tree fell through our house tonight 2 minutes after I put Cannon to bed, running to get my baby under debris was one of the scariest things I’ve ever experienced,” she wrote. “I am so thankful that our lives were spared tonight. Our nightly bedtime prayers absolutely worked.” Yes, Courtney, we are praising God with you because He absolutely hears and answers our prayers. After watching that nail-biting video, we are grateful we serve a mighty God who protects and upholds His children! “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! It's a heartwarming moment captured on camera when Peter Marshall, a man with Alzheimer’s, forgets his wife but then falls in love with her again. Lisa Marshall says her wedding day was incredible. It’s a day she will never forget even though her husband has...twice. This is a story that test and strengthen the bonds of love—even in the wake of memory loss. For those who have encountered this ugly disease, we know just how much Alzheimer’s takes—nearly everything. The memories, the shared experiences, and the stories of a life built together. But one thing always remains: love. Peter was at the spry young age of 53 when he learned he had the devastating disease that wouldn’t kill him but it would take something far more precious. He would gradually lose memories and the time he had left with his wife Lisa. Eventually, he completely forgot the life they built together. He forgot his wedding day and eventually the woman he called the love of his life. But to Lisa, she was still very much Peter's wife even though her role had shifted to his caretaker. "It's the saddest part because you want to reminisce, and you're alone in the memory," she said. But even when he couldn't remember Lisa's name, a vapor of their shared love sparked something inside. He started courting her and one evening, as they were watching a TV show, a wedding filled the scene. Peter was holding Lisa’s hand when he pointed to the TV and said, “Let’s do it.” "And I said, 'Do what?' And he pointed again. And I said, 'Do you want to get married?!' And he got this grin on his face and he said, 'Yeah.' So he fell in love with me again," Lisa said. So, Lisa staged a wedding for her ‘already’ husband. It was another enchanting event surrounded by family and friends who supported the couple. Lisa couldn’t believe how lucid Peter was that day and the days leading up to the wedding. "I can't even describe to you how magical it was. He was so present. And he was so happy. And it was very touching," she said even though she was prepared for Peter to forget. Even though their wedding day was full of love and miracles, reality set in the very next day when Peter's memories disappeared. But Lisa doesn’t regret saying, “I do.” "I'm the one who's going to remember that. And that's going to help me heal later, because it really is a true love story," she said. There is so much that this fallen and broken world can take from us, but we have this promise—that love remains. Even if it’s in fleeting memories on this side of Heaven, we know we are promised to be full, whole and restored by Jesus’ side. “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Luke 6:43-45

In this video Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter share the secret to their 75-year-long marriage. While many may know Jimmy Carter as the 39th president of the United States, his biggest role has been a faithful husband for 75 years. Rosalynn said, “Life with Jimmy Carter has been an adventure.” The two are planning to celebrate their milestone anniversary in Plains, Georgia with over 300 people. As they approach this incredible feat, many people want to know the secret to a successful marriage. Jimmy and Rosalynn sat down with Good Morning America to share some of the highlights of their life together and how they keep the love alive. First, they shared that one of their favorite activities to do as a couple is fly fishing. Jimmy noted that they went last year and shares an adorable picture of the couple in the water. Rosalynn says that they even have a little pond in front of their house. And while Jimmy and Rosalynn are both in their 90s, they've never let age slow them down. Jimmy shares about how when he first went out on a date with Rosalynn that the next morning he told his mother that she was the girl he wanted to marry. But Rosalynn didn't have the exact same sentiment. In fact, Rosalynn turned him down the first time when he proposed. She shares that she told her father on his deathbed that she would finish college. As we all know, this story has a happy ending and the two ended up getting married and sharing a beautiful life together. Jimmy even let us in on a special secret. “Every night we try to make sure that we completely reconcile from all the arguments during the day. For seventy five years of marriage, we’ve always grown deeper in our love for one another.” Marriage was originally designed by God. He intended for one man and one woman to come together and be joined. The intent was fellowship and reproduction. “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 Within a fallen world, marriage sadly does not always work out. However, as we look at the example of faithfulness to one another and the covenant of marriage, may it inspire us to keep our commitments of marriage lean on the Lord to love our spouses through His strength.

A lost dog returns home and uses her nose to ring the doorbell, and her smart move is caught on camera! Many dogs have some type of fear of loud noises like thunder and fireworks. Every year, around July 4th, plenty of dog owners prepare to comfort their pups during the celebrations. But you never really know when a neighbor will decide to get a little festive with some seemingly harmless explosives! Rajah the rescue pup is only a year and a half old now. Her owners are probably still learning new things about her — like her severe fear of fireworks and her intelligence! Ryan and Mary Lynn live in South Carolina with Rajah and their other dog. As the dogs played in the backyard, someone nearby shot off some fireworks. After hearing the noise Mary Lynn went to check on her pups. She later said, “I knew she'd be scared. I went to the backyard — and she was gone.” The couple drove around the neighborhood and posted on Facebook about Rajah. They said she’s escaped before and come back within 10 minutes. But this time, Rajah went missing for hours. Just as they decided to call some local shelters, their doorbell rang. Ryan thought someone brought Rajah back after finding her, but it turned out that Rajah brought herself back! The clip of Rajah in the doorbell camera shows her standing on her hind legs to reach the doorbell. She used her nose to press the button at 3 in the morning. What a smart girl! They heard the doorbell and saw their missing pup outside their front door. Mary Lynn said, “She thought she was in so much trouble, and she was sad and sulking, but we were like 'we're just happy you're back.’” Rajah had some thorns and mud all over her. Her owners had no idea where she had been. Mary Lynn also shared that they hadn’t taught Rajah to use the doorbell, and Rajah had never seen her humans use it either. Thank goodness this goofy and smart pooch alerted her people she returned! Maybe we should all teach our dogs to use the doorbell just in case!

Genesis 3:6

There are times in life when we are shocked to discover something that was unknown in our midst. In this video, a 70-year-old discovers a medieval well in his living room. Colin Steer, from Plymouth, found a well in his living room over thirty years ago. He says that he started digging out the well about eleven years ago. He has gotten down 17 feet but is still working towards the bottom of the well. He believes the well could be another five or six feet deep. Colin contemplates when the well was made and its main purposes for that time period. He says that he would love to find something indicating the age. He has used maps of the area as a resource to understand if it would have been the pump. He teaches that many wells are marked on old maps, but not his. Not only is Colin getting to the bottom of the well literally, but he is also getting to the bottom of it in discovering the history behind it. Colin shares that his wife is not mad about the well in their living room, but she goes along with it. Colin uses a plank with an open hole to cover the well. He says that he is an amateur archeologist. He found an old ring and an old coin. He has a piece of wood that he would like to be carbon-dated. Colin thinks the well might be from Medieval times because of the sword casing he found. The mystery is intriguing to Colin and also to anyone who watches this clip. This makes me think about the mysteries of God. Even though we know that He is there just like Colin knows the well is under his house, we do not always understand everything about God. The Lord is the most wonderful mystery to pursue. Keep learning more about Him through the Scriptures every day. Jeremiah 33:3 says “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

When a 51-year-old singer finally gets her shot with a mesmerizing America’s Got Talent audition, she makes it abundantly clear that age really is just a number! Storm Large, born Susan Storm Large in Southborough, Massachusetts, has been performing music for over 30 years. Storm casually strolls onto the stage, appearing relaxed and rather “chill.” She’s got crimson lips and matching red hair, and she wears non-mom blue jeans, a black leather jacket over a gray t-shirt, and tennis shoes. When the judges ask Storm to tell them about herself, she amazes them with the admission that she is 51 years old, because she certainly does not look like it! As the judges chat with Storm, though, we can see the grace and confidence that grows out of life experience and maturity. Storm states that she is honored and terrified about the opportunity before her, assuring the panel with her words that she doesn’t take this moment for granted. She is poised and quick, responding to Simon’s question about whether they’d met before with a quip about how they were so young then. She’s a hit before she even begins! Though others have recorded it, Frank Sinatra’s version of “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” may be the most widely recognized rendition. The song was written by Cole Porter in 1936, a jazzy, light-hearted ditty. It tells the story of a person who is infatuated with another, recognizes a relationship may not be wise, but yet finds it hard to resist pursuing the object of affection. When Storm delivers her interpretation of the song, it’s like the winds and weather have definitely changed. Her song is far slower and more dramatic, and it’s more rock and no jazz. The mood is desperate instead of merely disheartened. Storm has the judges riveted. Her voice is powerful, and it is obvious her lungs are as fit and healthy as is her toned 51-year-old body. When Storm finishes, all four judges give her a standing ovation and use words including: “mesmerized,” “possessed,” “well done,” “amazing,” “incredible,” “sexy,” “powerful,” “insane,” and, yes, “young lady.” When Sofia Vergara praises Storm’s performance, Storm responds with “Gracias, Carina,” which means “Thanks, Love.” Well, thank you, Storm, for proving that dreams can be accomplished at any age! “Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.” Exodus 7:7

There is nothing more adorable than a sweet and playful dog around the house. In this video, a genius dog has mastered hide-and-seek. Dutch Richard shares his story about his amazingly talented dog Lola. In the beginning, he is telling Lola that she needs to take a bath and she runs away, showing her refusal by hiding. Lola shows her skills to go potty on a little pink toilet. It is hilarious. Dutch shares that she thinks she is a human. Dutch shows footage of when he first got this beautiful dog as a puppy. A clip reveals how intelligent she is when he has her press a button with the answer on it of what she would like to do. Lola presses the button for hide-and-seek. Dutch saw that dogs could use buttons to communicate with their owners. He ordered one and trained Lola to hit the play button to get her toy back. It is incredibly fun to watch Lola when Dutch puts down her least favorite button, the bath button. She runs in fear. Lola does love to hit the treat button repeatedly though which is hysterical. Lola is still having playdates with her sister. Dutch shares that Lola is a Siberian Husky, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahua, and Lhasa Apso mix. Dutch tells about having gotten Lola during COVID. This cute dog has brightened up this young man’s world. This reminds me of how God provides for us in unexpected ways. Even though it was a tough time, the Lord gave Dutch an unexpected friend in Lola. The two of them clearly have a special bond that is really entertaining to watch. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." James 1:17
