But instead of giving us what we asked for, He offers us something else instead—something far more valuable than all the things in the world. He offers us a relationship. And not a long‐distance relationship. He offers us an intimate relationship—an intimacy that is not even known in the most perfect of marriages. He offers us a relationship where no separation exists. He offers us a relationship where He is in us, and we are in Him.
