Listen to this woman sing a hilarious parody of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ about getting old. It’ll have you in tears! Just when you thought this classic, crazy song couldn’t get any more fun, this talented woman transformed the lyrics into something a little more relatable. Shirley Șerban from New Zealand shared her version of Queen’s hit song on her Youtube channel. The parody now has over 5 million views! With a little extra time and sadness on her hands during the COVID-19 pandemic, Shirley found a fun activity — parody songs. She wrote, “Creating songs to make myself and others smile has been one of my favourite pastimes since I was a child.” Thankfully, Shirley decided to share her wacky lyrics with the internet. We probably all could’ve used more smiling and laughing during the pandemic and really any time. Even though the video isn’t anything special, Shirley took the time to record herself as each member of Queen performing the song. The wigs definitely made a huge difference! Now, what about getting old could be THAT bad? The answer for women — menopause. Shirley brings all of the horrible symptoms to light in her incredible parody. Mama, it’s menopause. No more children can be bred, now my ovaries are dead. Mama, no it’s not much fun. I once was hot in quite a different way. If you’re familiar with how the song goes, we know you just sang those words in your head. And that’s just the introduction. Huge thanks to Shirley for bringing the world some joy! One group of good Samaritans saved a man who was passed out in his truck by smashing into the vehicle’s back window. The incident happened on a busy Georgia interstate. Several people noticed a man who was unconscious and slumped over the steering wheel of his truck. So, they went to work, and their actions saved the man and many others on the highway that could have been endangered. The scene was captured on video and first shows strangers running alongside the drifting vehicle while trying to get the driver's attention. Then the truck comes to a stop in the middle of the highway. As the good Samaritans spring into action to try to wake up the man passed out in the front seat, they use everything that they can find to bust open a window. From a sledgehammer and a car jack to even a baby stroller, nothing seemed to be working at first. “We took the jack and tried to bust out the front window and I was out of luck,” says a pastor who had just left church when he stopped to help. Finally, one of the people in the group went to the truck’s back window and was successfully able to break it in. Once the paramedics arrived, they treated the driver who was suffering from a medical emergency. And the good Samaritans were able to use the man’s cell phone to contact his wife to let her know what was going on. “It brought joy to my heart,” says the pastor who was at the scene. “It felt good to see people, strangers who did not even know each other, to come together.” Thank goodness this group of people took the initiative to help out this man in need! Because of their actions, this man, as well as others on the road, were saved from harm.

In this incredible story, two cops save the day when they rescue a mom and baby pinned down by an out-of-control car. A mom was holding her infant while crossing the street when the unthinkable happened. An out-of-control car hits her and her child as it barrels in a barber shop. In the video, the mom tries to run out of harm’s way, but it is too late. She ended up getting pinned against a wall at the back of the barber shop, and her daughter became trapped under the car. How terrifying! Right next door to the barber shop were two cops who were sitting inside a deli shop. As soon as they saw the car smash into the building next door, they went rushing to the scene. Paul Samoyedny and Rocco Fusco are the Yonkers, New York police officers that reacted in a split second. And their body cam footage shows the drama that unfolded at the scene while they were helping the mom and trying to save the baby. It is a hard video to watch as you hear the little girl screaming under the car. In an effort to lift up the car, civilians joined the two cops, and together, they were able to raise the car up just high enough for Paul to crawl through glass to get the child. “I was just glad that the baby was crying and moving,” Paul said when asked what he was thinking when he got to the baby girl. Thankfully, the mom and baby survived the terrible crash. The mother had to get leg surgery, and the baby had to get back surgery for her skin that was burnt in the accident. But they will be able to make a full recovery. God bless these two police officers who saved the day with their quick actions!

Check out this amazing story where high school students created special technology that allows a wheelchair-bound father to stroll around his baby boy. Chelsea is a teacher at a private school in Maryland, and her husband has physical disabilities that prevented him from safely taking their newborn son for a walk. “My husband, Jeremy, had brain surgery just over 3 years ago to remove a brain tumor which left him with some physical challenges, some physical disabilities,” Chelsea says. When Chelsea and Jeremy welcomed their son, Phoenix, into the world earlier this year, one question that they had was how Jeremy could safely take Phoenix for a walk. That’s when Chelsea reached out to the technology lab at the school she works at to see if they could come up with a solution. And the students at the technology lab came through, and Chelsea and Jeremy are incredibly grateful. Jacob and Ivanka, two of the students who worked on the invention, shared about what the best part was for them in coming up with this successful design. “Just seeing the smiles on their faces,” shares Jacob. “And the relief that it worked,” says Ivanka. Both of them hope to study astrophysics when they get to college. The invention that they created that allows someone in a wheelchair to safely take their baby for a walk is called the We-Stroll. The invention has already won two international design awards. It is truly a godsend for Jeremy, and he is extremely grateful to have access to this technology. “I never thought I’d be able to do something like this safely,” says Jeremy excitedly. “I feel wonderful, I feel ecstatic.” How wonderful that Jeremy can now enjoy the simple pleasure of taking his son for a stroll safely thanks to these talented students!

France delivers America’s Got Talent a mind-blowing quick-change artist who earns a Golden Buzzer from German-American model Heidi Klum! Lea Kyle, just 25-years-old, appears first in this video with her boyfriend of eight years. Florian Sainvet asks Lea if she is nervous, and she confirms that she really, really is. Florian is a magician and has already graced the AGT stage himself, appearing on the show a year before. Lea goes on to share a bit of background. Lea is a trained beautician, but she says that, even though the work pays the bills, it is not her dream job. Lea has a passion for fashion, and she is super excited to meet Heidi Klum, whom she describes as the “Queen of Fashion.” Lea continues to explain that Florian invited her to perform with him one day. Though it was quite a challenge since Lea is very shy, she found in the experience her second passion… performing! She then decided to combine her two loves and become a quick-change artist. Just before going onstage, we see Florian declare his love for Lea. Lea says that he is her biggest fan. Though she’s nervous, she is ready for this opportunity that she hopes will change her life forever and provide her the chance to perform in Las Vegas. Heidi addresses Lea first. Lea chats a bit with the judges, and Heidi asks Lea what this opportunity means to her. After a moment, Lea says that it means “everything” to her. While she questions herself and the appropriateness of the answer she has given, all the judges assure her that her English is fine and she has given a perfect answer to the question. Lea begins her act with a couple of props and a rack of hand-made costumes she has made herself. Lea nails it! Outfits fly from racks onto her body, and she’s out of one costume and into another as quickly as she can wave a paper flower in front of her. Her routine is astounding! The judges are dumbfounded! They praise the quality of Lea’s performance, her presentation, her showmanship, and more. But, it’s Lea who is rendered speechless when Heidi asks if she thinks she should go right to the live shows. Perhaps, Lea realizes as the Golden Buzzer sounds that her life may very well be changed forever. Lea is brought to tears—congratulated by Heidi, hugged by Florian, and likely Las Vegas bound! Lea’s performance seems to be the result of hard work and big dreams. You have to watch this unexpected and incredible performance. 14-year-old Dylan Zangwill rocks out to a Queen hit during his AGT audition. As a kind young man with long curly hair comes out onto the stage, the judges greet him. Dylan shares that he is from Pennsylvania and the crowd cheers. Sophia says, “And what are you going to be doing tonight on AGT?” The boy responds, “I’m going to be singing tonight and playing piano.” Sophia asks how long he has been doing this and Dylan says that he has been doing this all of his life. Howie asks how old he is and Dylan responds, “I’m fourteen.” Simon then asks Dylan how it is being a singer and being in school. Dylan replies, “People know that I’m a singer and stuff, but I never really openly talk about it.” Simon inquires, “because?” The boy humbly responds, “I like hearing about what other people are doing, you know, I’m not that big of a fan of talking about myself.” The judges laugh enjoying that answer. Dylan confidently sits down at the piano and begins singing “Somebody to Love.” All of the judges are quickly amazed with smiles and intrigue. Howie gets so excited that he begins clapping and smiling. Dylan flawlessly sings challenging notes and hits incredible vibrato. As he ends his song proudly he hits the final notes on the piano and smiles as the crowd goes wild. This performance was inspiring. What I love most about Dylan is his humility. He reminds us to honor others before ourselves. How can we share our gifts today, but keep the focus on God and other people? “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10

Even knowing that “Tomorrow,” a 1977 show tune, was potentially going to be an epic fail, Jimmie Herrod performed Simon’s least favorite song, and he ended up getting a coveted Golden Buzzer. It’s hard to imagine anyone objecting to perhaps the most inspiring song from the beloved musical Annie, but in this video from America’s Got Talent, Judge Simon Cowell strongly states that “Tomorrow” is his “worst” song. Simon greets Jimmie and exchanges pleasantries. He asks Jimmie how old he is and what he does for a day job. Then, he questioningly verifies that Jimmie is a singer, but unassuming Jimmie laughs slightly and says that he “hopes so.” And, though Jimmie may seem a bit nervous or unsure, he does not change course and perform an alternative song even when Simon states that he should. Undeterred, Jimmie says that he doesn’t have another song, and he dives into his performance with a skeptical “good luck” from Simon. Jimmie sings only a few notes before the judges recognize that his rendition of “Tomorrow” is going to be truly special. His tenor voice produces rich, goose-bump provoking strains that grow more powerful and more lovely as Jimmie sings his way through Simon’s least liked song. The expressions and reactions from all four judges and Host Terry Crews reflect how impressed they are. Jimmie ends with a note that goes on forever, demonstrating his amazing set of pipes! As Jimmie’s final delicious note ends, three judges give him a standing ovation. And, Simon, after exclaiming “Wow” a few times, concedes that “Tomorrow” is not his worst song anymore. But, things go awry when Simon addresses Sofia for her thoughts; she was the only judge not to stand. She surprises the panel and host when she says that she didn’t really like the performance. Alas, Sofia is faking Jimmie out. She says that instead, she loved it, hitting the Golden Buzzer button at just that moment! Golden confetti—the very color of Jimmie’s shirt—rains from the sky, and Sofia rushes onstage to congratulate Jimmie! The video closes as he calls his dad and delivers the good news because Jimmie certainly already knows that a Golden Buzzer guarantees him a spot in the quarterfinals. Jimmie’s smile is as bright as his future and as big as his voice! “I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Psalms 9:2

Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers because not only does kindness create happy endings, but kindness also leads to forever homes. This heartwarming video tracks the journey of an abandoned puppy at the supermarket, and she receives a heartwarming rescue. The video opens onto a dirty sidewalk by a store and at the center of the scene was a small, tattered cardboard box. Inside it lays a tiny puppy who is whining for help and crying for her mama. It’s obvious the puppy was too young to be taken from its mother. It’s apparent that whoever left the puppy at the market cared because they left her on a busy corner in a box with food and water. You can see people passing by as the puppy cries for help. Her cries go mostly unnoticed and unheard until one stranger has compassion on her and rescues her. A man from Takis Shelter sees her and brings her home. At first, she is relieved at his touch and love as she melts into his lap, exhausted from her plight. The stranger becomes her foster dad and names her Ozzy. Little miss Ozzy is sad and confused. She misses her mama and her littermates. But as the days pass, her foster dad showers her with love, affection, attention, and gives her all the best comforts of a loving home. Slowly, this precious little girl comes to life as she learns to play with her foster brother. But then the day comes when Ozzy meets her forever mama. You wouldn’t believe her luck. Ozzy gets adopted by a mom who not only provides a stable, loving, forever home but little Miss Ozzy gets siblings! And I do mean lots of siblings. Not only did Ozzy find her forever home but her story went viral—reminding viewers to have compassion on animals, abandoned and living on the streets. So far, her story has received over 1.2 million views. And what an incredible ending. May we all remember we are adopted by our heavenly father and we have a forever home! “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” 1 Peter 3:8

Young people can sometimes amaze us when they have mature talent. In this video, a 17-Year-Old sings an emotional rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” In this heartfelt video, a young woman in her recording studio sings a moving rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” Lucy Thomas is a 17-year-old singer from Wigan, Lancashire in England. Her strong voice and popping blue eyes tell the story of this classic hit. She starts singing with intensity and confidence in her voice and has beautiful posture. Throughout the song, she performs in the studio while singing. At the end of the clip, Lucy belts out the final portion of the melody with great passion. She adorably finishes with a grin on her face, proud of her performance. Lucy already began her career when she was a Semi-Finalist on "The Voice Kids" in 2018. She has gone viral in this video with hundreds of thousands of views. “I Will Always Love You” was originally written by Dolly Parton and notably performed by Whitney Houston, too. “And I will always love you I will always love you” This young woman reminds us of faithfulness in the lyrics of this song. Although the singer is leaving her love, she says that her love will always remain. Maybe you have had to move away from friends or family? Remember that love is greater than the distance between us, we can pray for others and thankfully reach out through modern-day technology. God has always been faithful to us, and through His example, we can now be faithful to others. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Darci Claire got the experience of a lifetime. Luke Bryan surprises a 7-year-old fan and brings her on stage, and she knows every word! Darci has been a big fan of Luke Bryan for quite a while so when Luke launched his tour which included going through her hometown in Virginia, Darci’s parents bought front row tickets. In this video, you can see Darci mesmerized and crooning right along with Luke to his song, “Waves” when she catches his attention. Luke realizes she is his biggest little fan as she knows every note and every word. As they both finish singing the song, Luke cracks a big grin and does something no one expects. He tells her, “That was awesome. Come on up here!” He invites her onto the stage. Holding her in a fatherly embrace, he asks her if she knows the words to his number one country hit, “Down To One.” “You knew every word, do you know this one?” Luke asked Darci as the music began for “Down To One.” Of course, she knows every word. She’s even wearing a yellow “Country Girl” T-shirt and boots which is a nod to another big country hit by Luke! In front of thousands of fans, the pair sing the next song together. Darci’s sweet little spirit and enthusiasm of being on stage with Luke steals the show. She not only knows the words she gets her groove on as she dances and snaps her fingers. Who knew a sweet, seven-year-old little girl would get the opportunity of a lifetime—to sing on stage with her favorite superstar! I’m sure God was smiling at this pair too. Luke not only showed kindness, but he also gave this sweet little girl a gift she will forever remember. She fell in love with a man in a wheelchair which meant she never saw this coming. Josh Smith, a paralyzed man uses technology to get down on one knee and propose! This video is what romance movies are made of! The pair, Grace Thompson and Josh met on a dating app in the middle of the pandemic. Over time, they got to truly know one another, and they fell in love. Josh has been a C-6 quadriplegic, unable to walk since the age of 23 after a terrible swimming accident left him paralyzed. Even though it was a devastating blow, Josh was able to pick up the pieces to his life. He went back to work and even began inventing products for quadriplegics like himself. But what he didn’t expect was for a woman to date him, to love him, or marry him. God brought Grace into Josh’s life and just the right time. It gave Josh the courage and confidence to pursue a relationship with her. He quickly realized she is the “one whom his soul loves.” And he wanted nothing more than to give her the proposal of her dreams—down on one knee. So, with a little planning and help from his physical therapists, they helped Josh find an exoskeleton suit! This special suit looks like it came right out of Iron Man’s wardrobe, but it’s actually made for quadriplegics. And this is where this video turns into one of the romantic proposals of all time. The suit helped Josh get out of his wheelchair so he could get down on one knee. As Grace walks around the corner, she realizes what is happening when she cries out, “Are you serious.” Of course, Josh is serious! He’s down on one knee. He responds, “Dead serious. You are the most amazing thing in my life. I'm so glad that God brought you into my life. You are the most perfect person for me." Of course Grace said yes! The happy couple are now planning a wedding for next fall and it makes us all wonder what surprises he may be planning to make their wedding day another day they won’t soon forget! “No sooner did I depart from them than I found the one whom I love with all my heart. Stop and take a moment to appreciate the spectacular moment of the Brahma Kamal flower in bloom-- an occurrence that happens only once a year. In this video, a time lapse captures a rare plant blooming. Ragini Ramchandani captured the Brahma Kamal on film when it bloomed in her house in Dorset, Somerset, England. She was given the ability to plant her own when her great aunt in Mangalore, India gave her a piece of the plant to start. At the beginning of the video you see the intricate white flower begin to move and twist, opening up by the evening into full bloom. Each layer of the plant then folds up back into its enclosed shape. It really is breath-taking. At first glance, you might think this is a nice video of a flower, but when you learn more about the rarity to see this flower bloom, it creates a newfound appreciation for this video clip. Shivangi Karn from Bold Sky shares, “Brahma Kamal or Brahma Kamalam is an endemic and rare flowering plant species that is mainly found in the Indian Himalayan regions. The flower is also known as the 'king of Himalayan flowers'. It resembles a star and is pure white but the smell is not delightful.” The Bible reminds us that God takes care of the flowers, so how much more will he take care of us? We have such a strong hope that we are in the Father’s hands. May this video be a reminder that we do not need to worry because we are taken care of by our loving God. “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" Matthew 6:27-30
