Luke Combs Stops Concert For 2 Young Boys Who Saved Money To Attend

Hard work really does pay off. Luke Combs stops the concert for two young boys who saved money to attend his concert! Bo Fenderson and his best friend Tanner Hale absolutely love Luke Combs. When they learned Luke was putting on a concert near their hometown, they really wanted to go.

But in trying times like these, trying to make a buck stretch is no small feat. So the boys decided to get to work. They stacked cords of wood for a neighbor. It took the boys two days which equated to about ten hours of work, and in the video, pictures reveal the wood stacks were taller than both of the boys!

I imagine their hands were callused and full of silvers, but that didn’t seem to slow them down or detract their eyes from the prize of one hundred dollars each. Both the boys were ecstatic when the job was done. They now had the precious resources they needed to purchase tickets to attend the Luke Combs concert. It likely sounded like sweet victory the moment they witnessed Luke coming on stage with their very own eyes.

Before attending the concert, the boys made signs to show Luke and other fellow concertgoers. They wanted everyone to know how hard they worked in order to get there. One sign read, “We made one hundred bucks stacking five cords of wood and bought two Luke Combs tickets. Man, he sounds good!” The other sign read, “Our dads swore it was a waste of time. Oh, but they were wrong! Today’s my twelfth birthday. Oh Lord, when it rains, it pours!”

If that isn’t the cheekiest sign you’ve ever seen, I don’t know what it is. But we all know how sweet it feels to work hard and get a job done. This sweet story gets even better when the boys were more than rewarded for their hard work. Luke actually saw these cute signs from the stage. Then he did something no one expected. He stopped the concert and talked to Tanner and Bo. But wait, it gets even better. Luke then pulled over a hundred dollars from his own wallet and gave it to them.

Bo and Tanner will forever learn the lesson of what it means to work hard in order to achieve their dreams, no matter how big or small. We all know that hard work and dedication are the way to success, but the path isn’t always easy or exactly clear; it might be filled with splinters, dirt, and grime, but the efforts do truly pay off.

Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Actor Brendan Fraser Cries After Standing Ovation At Comeback Film Debut

He’s making a comeback. Actor Brendan Fraser cries after a standing ovation at his comeback film debut. During the Venice Film Festival, where he was surrounded by fellow friends of his trade, Brendan was brought to tears, but he was crying tears of complete joy. Humbled from the applause he received, Brendan stood tall as he held in the emotions as best as he could.

Why the applause? In a Darren Aronofsky film titled ‘The Whale,’ he portrayed a 600-pound man who is a writer that was trying to reconnect with his teenage daughter. In the film, he is almost completely unrecognizable from his past roles like Tarzan and the ‘Mummy Returns’ movies.

In previous films, he plays a buff, confident, athletic man, which is no small feat. Can you imagine all the hours he dedicated in order to get fit at the gym? Then he turns around and lets his body go in order to play the main character in ‘The Whale.’

What he wasn’t expecting was the applause and respect from his peers at the festival. He was so stunned, all he could do was smile and hold back the tears that were swimming in his eyes. He was clearly proud of his hard work and humbled by the recognition he received. Not only did his peers give him a round of applause, his fellow friend, Dwayne Johnson, known as ‘The Rock’ gave him a shout-out on Twitter.

The Rock posted a tweet in honor of his friend, “Man, this makes me so happy to see this beautiful ovation for Brendan. He supported me coming into his Mummy Returns franchise for my first-ever role, which kicked off my Hollywood career. Rooting for all your success brother…”

It seems Brendan is a humble man, last year during an interview, he was once again teary-eyed as the reporter tells him that the internet and his fans are cheering him on. She mentioned that his fans are so supportive and behind him one hundred percent.

She told him that we all love him and are rooting for him as he worked his way into a big comeback debut.

I love it when we root for each other. Encouragement is something we all need to keep us motivated, loved, and feeling confident in ourselves and what we are created to do for God’s kingdom.  All it takes is words of affirmation and prayers. We hope you enjoyed this video as much as we did.

Nurse Performs Life-Saving CPR In The Middle Of Baseball Field

It is always a blessing to have a medical professional nearby during an emergency. In this video, a nurse performs life-saving CPR in the middle of a baseball field.

At the start of this video, a woman is giving CPR to a baseball player on the field as others around them are praying. The RN’s name is Danya Tompum. She was in the stands cheering on her own sons as she heard a cry for help.

She shares about the intense moment and how she looked out and saw a man named Darren lying down in the field. She says, “I booked it out there.” Darren apparently did not have a pulse.

During this dramatic moment, Danya began compressing his chest to save his life. She says that it terrified her because she was alone out there trying to rescue him. Suddenly a medic pulled up to help Danya and relieve her. She felt like Darren was not going to survive. Then, suddenly paramedics came and used a defibrillator to shock his heart, and it worked.

Darren had suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 57, and the doctor told him that he would be dead if he did not have that nurse come to his aid. The two of them hug, and he tells Danya that she saved his life. Darren says that Danya is his guardian angel, and he thanks her.

This incredible act of bravery and heroism shines. We see a woman take action and use her knowledge and skills to save another. May we remember that we too, had a death sentence if it not been for Jesus coming on our behalf.

He came down to earth and died for our sins and rose again. We are no longer under eternal punishment for sin, but when we place faith in Jesus, we have confidence in eternal life forever.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

All-Female Irish Dancers Stun With Vivaldi Routine

This is a wonderful video of top-notch Irish dancing. In this clip, all-female Irish dancers stun with a Vivaldi routine.

In this video, the Ladies of Prodijig are in a beautiful older church with stained glass windows. They are all poised and professional in their dance moves to Winter from Vivaldi’s album, Four Seasons.

They have taken a famous classical song and spiced it up with modern moves. Their legs and feet move in such incredible synchronization, and they even clap along in unison with the music.

Their footwork is so fancy and spot on that it makes anyone want to try to join in and dance. As the camera zooms in on their feet, the level of talent is astonishing. The group keeps you entertained and interested during the entire performance.

They jig, and they move up and down, tapping in rhythm. As one leads the way with one part of the music, the rest of the group responds with the second part. It is beautiful how these girls put dance to song. It is as if they are telling a story and being visuals of what could actually be occurring in the piece of music.

At the end of the dance, the ladies finish out with a modern twist with claps and stomps. They each hit everything so perfectly and do such a stunning job as a team.

As we have encountered such athleticism and creativity, it propels us to worship God. He is the giver of such talents and the Creator and music and dance. He is glorified greatly through moments like this in the arts community.

We know that the Lord is the one who deserves the highest praise as we witness His creations using their giftings for His honor.

“I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.” Psalm 145:11

New Zealand Tap Dancer Continues To Shine On AGT With “Shape Of You” Performance

Meet the New Zealand tap dancer who continues to shine on America’s Got Talent with his performance to Ed Sheeran’s song “Shape of You.” With a desire to make his living by tap dancing, and 16 years of practice already, Bayley Graham is on his way!

Tap dancing is not the most modern form of dance, and pop songs are not typically the songs to which one tap dances. But, Bayley Graham has an updated vision of the art form, which is believed to have first been practiced in the mid-1800s. With his implementation of lights and a staircase, Bayley adds something truly unique to his already impressive dance skills!

Outfitted in all white, Bayley has a friendly personality. He greets the audience and seems quite comfortable on stage. He approaches the stairs, six up and six down on the other side. The steps and the backdrop are lit in orange and turquoise, adding pizzazz to the performance. It is a feast for the senses!

Bayley moves rhythmically up and down the steps, tapping, jumping, and skipping steps along the way. The footwork and athleticism are remarkable! Midday through the 2-minute performance, Bayley asks the audience to clap.

The lights go out, and he then does a tap dance from the floor. However, he is flanked electronically by two more “Bayleys.” One ‘Bayley’ dances in an orange silhouette on the right, and the other is on the left in blue. The visual effect is incredible!

He pauses, and the lights return. Bayley is again alone on stage. He finishes on the ground before ascending back up the steps to land his final tap at the top. He smiles and laughs, surely feeling like he might just be at the top, figuratively.

We don’t get to see how the judges and the audience voted on Bayley’s performance here, but this 22-year-old New Zealander certainly has a bright future ahead—on or off of America’s Got Talent. Well done, Bayley!

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14

Opera Singer Stuns With Musical Impressions During AGT Semi-Finals

You have to see this opera singer stun the crowd with her musical impressions on the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent.

Opera singer Merissa Beddows gave it her all at the AGT semi-finals. Since a young age, Merissa has been doing amazing singing impressions, and she treated the audience to a few during this recent performance.

She started her act with singing ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ in her beautiful operatic voice. As she was singing this song, viewers likely thought they were going to be treated to some opera. But then Merissa took a left turn by showcasing her gift for vocal mimicry.

As the performance continued, Merissa delivered a medley that included ‘It's All Coming Back to Me Now’ by Celine Dion, ‘Bring Me to Life’ by Evanescence, a pitch-perfect impression of Cher singing ‘If I Could Turn Back Time,’ and even a right-on-the-money impression of Lois Griffin singing the Family Guy theme song.

Then Merissa ended her performance back into operatic mode and beautifully finished singing ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ for her grand finale. What a wonderful performance!

“Her talent is through the roof! I absolutely love what she does, and I'd definitely pay to see her for sure. She's getting my vote!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“One of my top favorites in the entire competition! Go Merissa! Your voice is enviable!” writes another person online.

After Merissa finished her performance, Sophia Vergara told her that her musical impersonations were “so spectacular.” And Heidi Klum also had high praise for the singer. “You’re a woman of many different talents, and I love watching you,” Heidi said.

We hope that you enjoyed watching Merissa Beddows sing her musical impressions in this video and it was able to bring a smile to your face today!

Internet Stands Up For News Anchor Fired After Letting Her Hair Go Grey

God has made each of us unique, and part of getting older includes gray hair. In this video, the internet stands up for a news anchor who was fired after letting her hair go grey.

In this clip, a Canadian award-winning news anchor was given the boot because of her hair color choice. She decided to go grey. She shares that she was “blindsided” and “still in shock.”

After this decision, many people on social media began posting and standing up for her. They stood up for the fact that this was not fair and unfair to women of age.

The woman is 62, and she should be able to have the choice of wearing her natural God-given hair. Sadly, this is a struggle for women in that their beauty can make or break a career on TV.

People actually began the hashtag #KeepTheGrey in support of the news anchor. They want to show her support in the midst of her hurt.

Now, many women are posting with their gray hair to encourage that this news anchor is not alone and that they too have made this decision. Even businesses are showing major support.

Wendy’s even changed the color of the child logo to have grey hair to show support. Some women have been blessed with words of positivity for this decision, including podcasters. However, this is a topic that needs to be discussed, and women need to be treated fairly when they make this decision.

God shares his thoughts about gray hair often in the Bible. He even refers to gray hair as a glorious crown. We can celebrate age because the Lord gives life, and it is a blessing to be commemorated.

“Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.” Proverbs 16:31

Band Starts Singing Dad's Name After He Is Separated From Son

This is a powerful video about community and care. A band starts singing a dad’s name after he is separated from his son.

In this emotional video, we see a sweet boy on the shoulders of an Emcee. The young boy is crying. He has gotten separated from his father. We watch as the crowd begins to clap and shout the dad’s name.

Then, the band takes the search party to the next level by creating a song about it. They sing out the dad’s name and say that they are looking for him.

As they sing, the boy is still on the Emcee’s shoulder in front of the band, and they get the audience very involved. The little boy is still crying, but the music and the fun make it helpful for him to remain hopeful.

The crowd really gets into the song, and the band plays their instruments and harmonizes. You would think that this is an actual song performance at the festival. Suddenly, we see a man looking and hastening toward the little boy, and the boy jumps into his arms.

The boy has been reunited with his father. The band and the crowd continue singing the song in celebration at the reunion.

As we reflect on this father’s pursuit to find his son and the precious reunion, may it remind us of the sweet pursuit of our Heavenly Father. We were lost, but now we are found.

We went astray, and He came down to save us. We have a great celebration knowing that we are loved and cared for by our great God.

“So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him, and kissed him.” Luke 15:20

Cry For Hope' Michael W. Smith Performs Prayer For Ukraine

There are no words for what is happening to the people of Ukraine. We’ve seen images of bombed homes, children losing their lives, and fathers gunned down over one man’s greed for power.

The Bible reminds us that there will be wars, but that doesn’t mean we can’t lift up mankind. We can help them in their time of need. Recently, a well-known musician released a new song to help bring relief to those living in the war zone. ‘Cry For Hope’ by Michael W. Smith plays a prayer for Ukraine.

In this captivating orchestra official music video, Michael plays the piano, and he is accompanied by a Ukrainian violinist. The video for the music piece is accompanied by real-life images of people living in Ukraine.

We have been devastated by the images we’ve seen on the news and on social media. Hospitals bombed, children hiding in basements, and fathers leaving their families to take back their country.

We go to God to pray, and yet we have no words for what we are witnessing and what the Ukrainians are facing. We can’t imagine living in a war zone. Nor can we imagine every semblance of life ripped apart. We ache, we groan, and we pray for Jesus to fix it. When we can’t find the words, Michael finds a way to create a musical masterpiece that echoes the plight of the Ukrainians as well as our heart’s cry.

When he was asked how he put this song together, he wrote, “I saw some images and video of what was taking place in Ukraine, and the casualties, and the women and children, and it broke my heart… it just wiped me out. I found myself at the grand piano at my house, and this melody fell out of the sky.”

Michael’s new song is a silent prayer for Ukraine. After posting the video, he captioned it with this message, “After watching the news and the devastation in Ukraine, like most of the world, I was in tears. Over the next few days, this melody just kept coming back to me and just spoke a message that no words could convey."

He is partnering with CityServe, and a portion of the funds being raised through this musical masterpiece will go to help Ukraine. It is Michael’s prayer that this piece moves us all to pray more and give what we can to help Ukraine. We thank God that when we have no words, he knows what our hearts feel, and he moves on our behalf.

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

Little Girl Brings The Waterworks With Toast To Bride And Groom

Who says wedding toasts should be left to the adults? A little girl brings the waterworks with her toast to the bride and groom in this video, and you don't want to miss it.

Toasts. Guests often have a love/ loathe relationship with them at weddings. Some are too long, and others are highly inappropriate. Then there are some embarrassing toasts that just don’t make any sense.

But this is a toast you don’t want to miss. This sweet little girl nailed it on what it means to give a speech to the bride and groom. She starts the toast off by telling the audience she is a little nervous. I would be too–especially at her age. Then she proceeds to her speak as if she were writing a letter.

“Dear Gabby and Kevin, you guys go together like peanut butter and jelly. Both of you on your own are amazing, but you two make the best duo,” she said. Is your heart melting yet, because mine is! But wait, there’s more.

She continues by telling each of them why they are perfect for each other. “Gabby, you’re so thoughtful and kind, and Kevin, you’re caring and sweet.” Now, if those words haven’t captured your attention, maybe the last part of her toast will. You might want to grab a tissue.

She proceeds to say, “I hope when I’m older, I’ll meet someone like you who looks at me with so much love and care, just like you look at Gabby.”

Oh my stars! What words of wisdom and a reminder that children look up to us and we can model what love is. What a heart-melting moment. We hope you enjoyed this daily dose of inspiration.

1 Corinthians 13:13 “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

10-Year-Old Hero Saves Mom From Drowning During Seizure In Pool

It’s amazing how kids know just what to do in crisis situations. In this heart-stopping video, a ten-year-old hero saves his mom from drowning during a seizure in the pool.

Gavin Keeny and his mom were enjoying the last few moments of summer in the family pool, which was captured on the family’s surveillance video. You can see his mama Lori Keeny just out of the shot when Gavin dives into the pool like a well-trained lifeguard.

He gets to her as quickly as possible. He immediately hugs her and turns her face up right from the water as he begins swimming to the edge of the pool.

Lori was having an epileptic seizure, and Gavin instinctively knew he needed to get her face up and out of the water. Then Gavin’s grandfather realized what was happening and rushed into the pool to pick up Lori. You can see in the video as Gavin transfers her to his grandpa, and the look on his face is sheer relief. He knew at that moment she was going to be okay.

Now Gavin is being publicly recognized as a hero. How incredible is that? He’s only in fifth grade, and he was given an award for saving his mother’s life. But here’s the twist, this wasn’t the first time he saved his mother’s life.

He had saved her once before when she was choking. We hope he continues to be strong, courageous, and resilient because he has certainly earned the title of being a “little hero.”

Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

Officers Save Father And Son Clinging To Cooler In Frigid Water

Boston Harbor Police Officers respond and save a father and son as they cling to their cooler in frigid water, and there isn’t much time to spare!

76-year-old Joseph Azeredo and his son 41-year-old, Tommy Azeredo, were lobster fishing off of the coast of Graves Light Island, approximately 8 miles from Boston Seaport, when disaster struck. Their lobster lines got tangled in the motor of the boat, Tommy working for nearly half an hour trying to free the ropes.

However, before he could, their boat hit rocks and began to take on water. Within minutes, the 28-foot Grady had sunk, and the men were in the water struggling to stay afloat! Body camera footage captured the desperation of the moment, as well as the life-saving rescue!

Watch as Officers Stephen Merrick and Garrett Boyle rescue Joseph and Tommy after getting the 911 call. As the police boat approaches the two in the water, Tommy and Joseph grab onto a rail on the side of the boat.

They’d been treading water and staying above water by holding onto their Igloo cooler and a buoy for 15 minutes when the officers located them!

Officer Boyle explains that time is critical in these types of emergencies. Minutes can make the difference between life and death. Tommy insists that the patrolmen pull his dad out of the water first.

Dad Joseph wears a life jacket, but Tommy does not; Tommy had taken his off to escape the boat’s cabin when it sank, the life jacket preventing him from swimming out of the boat at the time. Once Joseph is safe, Tommy is pulled onto the boat. What a terrifying experience!

The Azerados were extremely grateful to Officers Merrick and Boyle, as well as to their Igloo cooler! The four men met a few days after the accident. Thankfully, their injuries were minor.

But, the experience will last a long time in their minds. Tommy said, “No more lobster. We’re selling those. We’ll just stick to fishing… That’s what we’ll do.”

“He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”” Daniel 6:27

Journey's Jonathan Cain Shares Faith-Based Inspiration Behind “Don't Stop Believin'”

In this video, a White Chair Film from I Am Second, Journey’s Jonathan Cain shares how faith-based inspiration was behind the hit song “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Jonathan Leonard Friga, known professionally as Jonathan Cain, was born in 1950 in Chicago, IL. He began his music career in 1965, attended the Chicago Conservatory of Music, and joined Journey in 1980, playing with the band during all of their active years since then.

Here Jonathan describes how faith and the presence of God, even when unnoticed by him, has been a constant in his life and led him to where he is today. He says his story begins with his father.

When he was just a child, he’d watched his dad in prayer, and he’d craved the faith that he observed in his father. But, when he asked if he could “go with [him] to Jesus,” his father told him that he’d have to find his own relationship with Jesus; he’d have to find his own way to God.

The singer-musician-songwriter then shares two incredible events from his childhood. When he was a boy, he nearly drowned in an Arkansas lake. He was saved and brought to shore by a man nearby, but he recognized that God had really been the one to save him.

He goes on to explain that when he was eight years old and in third grade, a horrific fire had taken the lives of 92 children and three nuns at the very school he attended. Can you imagine the trauma that would have caused?

Jonathan reports that, though grateful, he was confused about why he was saved when so many were lost. His dad believed that it was so he could do something special, and he believed that something had to do with music.

He talks about his early days in music and about his doubts along the way. There were successes, and there were days when he struggled, but his father urged him “don’t stop believing.”

Jonathan says that it was those wise words that led, five years later, to the 1981 song “Don’t Stop Believin’.” He attributes that song to landing Journey a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

When Jonathan’s dad passed away years later, he felt a huge loss. He felt that his encourager and his musical inspiration were gone. But, that’s when he heard his Heavenly Father’s voice—telling him that it was His voice speaking through John’s father all along!

He then realized that it was God who had been there when he wrote “Open Arms” and “Faithfully.” It was He who inspired those words!

Jonathan Cain writes and performs Christian and worship today. He lives in Florida with his minister wife, Paula White. And, now, he sees things much more clearly! He understands.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16

Unemployed Young Man's Life-Changing Audition Viewed More Than 100 Million Times

James Arthur grew up through some tough and turbulent times. His parents divorced when he was two, and since then, he never felt like he belonged anywhere. James was a troubled child who “went off the rails” and got suspended from school too.

But this unemployed young man’s life-changing audition was viewed more than 100 million times because we all love a good underdog story.

Jesus often sought out the broken, the poor, the homeless, and those who lived on the fringe of society. James was one of those people who lived on the fringe but was created to do something great. After ending up in foster care, James turned to music as a way to cope.

He knew then that he had to find a way to make a better life for himself. “One day, I had to stop behaving like a child and just grow up,” he said. After this realization, God began working on his heart as James poured himself into his music.

His mother said there had been times when she’s listened to Jame’s original songs and thought his lyrics were deep and full of soul. When he decided to audition for the X-Factor, his prayers had come true. Both sides of his family set aside their differences and came together to support him.

He said it was the first time in 22 years that his parents had been in the same room. How incredible is that?

After James introduced himself to the judges, he was confident in his performance and told the judge and the audience he would sing an acoustic version of Tulisa's Young. His voice captivated the crowd and blew the audience away. His voice is a combination of For King and Country and Ed Sheeren.

His performance was absolutely mind-blowing as he seemingly got lost in the music and gave it his heart and soul. Jame’s audition has now been viewed over 100 million times. In fact, it’s been viewed more than 102,428,702 times. You don’t want to miss one of the most soul-filled, incredible performances of all time.

James 1:7 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

19-Year-Old Earns Rare 4-Chair Turn With 'Imagine' Blind Audition

As if a blind audition isn’t enough to make a person nervous, imagine doing it on live TV. A nineteen-year-old earns a rare four-chair turn with the song “Imagine” during a blind audition for Germany’s The Voice.

The auditorium is deathly quiet. It’s so quiet that you could probably hear a pin drop, but then Tammo Forster strums the first new notes of the Imagine before lending his soft, melodic voice to the song.

Immediately the audience and judges are mesmerized by his whisper-like baritone vocals. Everyone is blown away by this seemingly ordinary young man dressed in simple blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and flannel.

It’s almost as if John Lennon was singing the song instead of this young man. Tammo sings the song with perfect pitch. Each time he hits a different yet difficult octave, one of the judges turns their chairs to vote “Yes” for Tammo to join his or her team to be coached.

Not only did he get one vote, but he also received all four votes, which is rare.

His performance was absolutely outstanding. He was born to sing, and now he has his choice of any judge to help coach him all the way to the finals on The Voice. Tammo’s performance was posted to Youtube, where it quickly went viral with thousands upon thousands of views and hundreds of comments.

One viewer was so moved by his performance she wrote this comment, “It the heart with the sound of his voice. An incredibly brilliant song, which has been covered many times before, but today it was sung really wonderfully again! Very very nice.”

I couldn’t agree more. The song Imagine has been a cover rendition for decades. Yet, Tammo seemed to breathe new life into it. We hope to hear more from Tammo as he competes on The Voice. It’s moments like this when we can thank God for giving each and every one of his children a purpose and talent. Tammo certainly brought joy to those who got to hear him perform.
