Kathie Lee shares how she moved to Nashville. She says that she loves home church and having people over. She also is a grandmother now. She jokes about being the worst grandma. Her grandson’s name is Frank, after her late husband as a beautiful tribute.
Kathie says God knows your name whether your name is famous or nobody knows your name. Kathie Lee says people start to feel invisible as they age and people begin to die, and you cherish the time more.
Kathie teaches that Paul tells us to think about things that are praiseworthy, noble, and honorable. She shares that she never separated secular from spiritual. She didn’t work in a secular world, she works in God’s world.
She joked that people would whisper if they could pray with her in her dressing room after a show, and then she would yell out, “Yeah you can come to my dressing room and pray with me!” The audience laughs.
Kathie Lee shares a clip of “The God of the Way,” a new telling of the Bible that she has written, directed, and narrated. She goes on to talk about how we need justice and mercy, and the Bible is both. She then is asked about her former friend and co-worker Regis Philbin and describes him and their friendship as authentic.
