American Lung Association: COVID-19 Trusted Public Health Message

As the country’s trusted champion of lung health, the American Lung Association’s top priority is the public’s health and well-being – especially for the 36 million Americans living with chronic lung disease, like asthma, COPD and lung cancer. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a lung infection, and those with chronic medical conditions are more susceptible to severe symptoms of COVID-19.

The American Lung Association has been sharing science-based, public health information as this pandemic progresses, including weekly webinars, blogs from frontline healthcare providers and online support communities. Our PSA reminds all of us that the American Lung Association has relevant, timely and necessary resources when it comes to our lung health.

Thank you for your help as we help as we help to counter the spread of misinformation in this time of uncertainty.
